Greetings and Happy New Year, Friends!
We are about halfway into January now, and I, like I'm sure many of you, spent the early part of the month assessing last year's accomplishments and making plans and goals for the coming year.
Vanityfire Photography had a terrific 2015, and as I journaled and reflected on my dreams for the future, I felt overwhelmed with a plethora of happy emotions: excitement for my business, passion for my art, confidence in my abilities, eagerness to get started! But I soon realized that, above all else, my primary emotion was gratitude. Gratitude for being able to spend my life doing what I love most. Gratitude for being granted an extremely rewarding talent for bringing out the best in others through my work. And, most of all, gratitude for the incredibly inspiring and gifted women I have had the privilege to photograph and get to know over the years.
